Bukit Merah Laketown Resort recently won the APECP Excellent Child Contributor Awards 2009/2010 for the category Child-Friendly Eco-Tourism Resort.  En. Ahmad Husini Hassan, General Manager of Bukit Merah Laketown Resort received the auspicious award. 

Bukit Merah Laketown Resort also sponsored the individual award recipient for Outstanding Pediatrician.  Puan Hajjah Felina bte Tan Sri Datuk Haji Mustapha Kamal, Executive Director for MK LAND Holdings Berhad was given the honour to accompany HRH DYTM Tuanku Hajjah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, Raja Puan Muda Perlis, who is the Patron of APECP to give away the individual award recipient.

The APECP Excellent Child Contributor Awards 2009/2010, which is organized by the Association of Professional Early Childhood Providers Malaysia (APECP) was held to honour businesses, non-profit organizations, governments (local, state and federal), educational institutions and individuals who have made significant contributions towards improving quality and providing excellent services in early childhood education, care and development in Malaysia.
